For 80 years, Nankin Cafe was considered a downtown Minneapolis landmark. Founded in 1919, people came from all over to eat in this beautiful restaurant and eat the food people still miss today.
The restaurant moved to different locations over the years and had several owners. After a decline in popularity of traditional Chinese-American food and other factors, Nankin Cafe sadly closed in 1999.
